We got a new cat. Just for 2 months though. It’s really my cousin’s cat even though I want her to be mine. Her name is Toulouse! She is very small because she’s a kitten at 9 months old. I made a bed for her in my bathroom sink and she loves it in there. She also loves bread and if there is a loaf of it nearby she will tear through the bag and devour any/all of it.

Oh, so, O. I was really sick for a few weeks and I don’t think I posted any more of my O, Miami Poetry Festival photographs. There’s a really flattering picture of me at the reading I did at the Betsey Hotel on top, Dominican poet Frank Baez who blew my mind with his work, Thurston Moore from the band Sonic Youth reading his poems, Parks and Recreation Writer/Twitter funny lady Megan Amram (whom I absolutely ADORED) and a bunch of Miami tattoos.

What’s better than getting stuff in the mail? Getting chocolate stuff in the mail! My BFF in LA just sent me this unexpected package of the most decedent chocolate I’ve ever tasted. I just ate a dark chocolate fudge truffle in grey Himalayan Sea Salt, and it is literally like I just injected my arm with angels. Or at least that is literally what I’d imagine it to be like. Yes. This chocolate. John Kelly, you know how to please a lady. Also, wouldn’t truffle be a cute name for a poodle?
Speaking of Totoro, someone bring me this bed!
